Frequently Asked Questions
There are multiple pending transactions. Was I charged more than once?
Evergreen Appraisal will only collect fees for transactions that were successful or settled with the financial institution. However, if the credit card was transacted multiple times and declined, pending charges may appear on the cardholder’s account. These charges should disappear after 2-5 business days.
My credit card was declined, what should I do?
Verify the credit card number, expiration date, CID security code, and billing address before making a second attempt. If still declined, notify cardholder immediately for security and authorization purposes.
All my information is correct, but yet it is still declined.
Appraisal fees may exceed the normal average charge transaction for the Cardholder and therefore requires prior approval by cardholder and/or financial institution. Notify cardholder immediately for security and authorization purposes. The cardholder’s bank may have security measures in placed and may need the cardholder to call their credit card company in order to authorize the charges. In other instances, the appraisal fee may be higher than their limit on single transactions and may cause the card to get declined. It is highly recommended that you ask your cardholder these questions before attempting to place an order to minimize these attempts.
My computer is down right now, may I place an order through fax?
Yes, complete the Evergreen Order Form, signed Evergreen Credit Authorization Form and have your purchase contract documentation ready (if applicable). Fax to Evergreen Appraisal at 562.516.0221. You will receive confirmation within 24 hours.
